Typically when it comes to central placed focal subjects I find myself sighing however here I find myself gasping at how gorgeous this is. The sunset is breathtakingly beautiful and how it's blended into the blue just looks so artistic and beautiful, something I'm not overly familiar with when it comes to photo-manipulations. The one solitary tree just gives of that good old magic vibe that is implanted in my mind from all the days playing Secret of Mana. How you worked the ground is also well done, again with a brilliant colour ramp. My only disappointment with this piece is there is no noticeable blue backlighting on the blue sky side of the tree. Add you included that hyper-realistic detail I would have called this perfect but is fantastic none the less.
Vision: Very clear and very nicely executed!
Origionality: Not the most origional concept but an origional execution of it.
Technique: Superb work
Impact: A smile inducing scene that brought back memories of awesome RPG games.
Right away, the most impressive aspect of this painting is that the tree stands alone amongst a brilliant and fiery sunset(?). A forest or small grove of trees would be less impressive, at least in my viewpoint. So you have done well and wisely to feature that one tree. The colors of the painting are very smart and natural. The brilliance of the sunset is most impressive in that respect. The lone tree standing there is very appealing. It is hard for someone to sympathize with inanimate objects but I feel so with this tree. The lighting effects on the earth are familiar though, since I have produced them with PS before. Altogether a breathtaking piece of work.
